Who We Are

Our Team

Callisto is created by survivors, for survivors. It is a third-party system built and maintained by the nonprofit Sexual Health Innovations (SHI).  The mission of SHI is to create technology that advances sexual health and wellbeing in the United States. By partnering with college campuses, SHI aims to provide college survivors with an online system that offers support, resources, and a more transparent and empowering sexual assault reporting process.

The Callisto Team is a passionate group of individuals who collectively aim to end sexual assault on college campuses. As noted in the SHI Statement on Equity & Inclusion, we intentionally attract, select, develop, and retain individuals who represent a multitude of identities and backgrounds. Our diverse team has a broad range of experiences and backgrounds, but we are all bound together by our commitment to supporting college students who are impacted by sexual assault.

Our Boards

The Callisto Team highly values collaboration with other individuals and organizations who are involved in sexual assault prevention work.

We are guided by a Higher Education Board, which is made up of folks from all across the country working at colleges like the University of Oregon, the University of Michigan, and Yale.

Because this work is not isolated to college campuses, we also work with our Community Advisory Board, where folks from organizations like Know Your IX, End Rape on Campus, and Futures Without Violence help us stay grounded with the work that is happening nationally to end sexual violence.

Lastly, because we take your safety and security extremely seriously, we tap into the expertise of our Technology & Security Board members who work at places like Google, Yelp, and University of Texas - Austin.
